TaMHS Billingham is geared to promoting children’s emotional wellbeing in every Billingham school through innovative and interactive programmes delivered by Alliance Psychological Services. Part of a government initiative (Targetted Mental Health in Schools) TaMHS Billingham is committed to improving the mental health of children aged 3 – 13 by tackling blocks to emotional health at an early, preventable stage. Parents, teachers and other professionals concerned with children’s welfare can also plug into a network of local and on-line groups, individual support, information and training.
Our purpose is to become a positive force for change and inspiration in the promotion of children and young people’s emotional wellbeing. Working alongside children and all adults concerned with their development we want to make a tangible, accountable difference to the mental health and potential of our children in the home and the wider educational community.
Alliance Psychological Services Ltd is an independent provider of counselling, support work, specialised community services and psychological therapy based in the North East of England. We have over ten years experience of working within the private and public sectors and an experienced team of counsellors, social workers, play therapists, group workers, support staff and family and children workers.
